Brad Keifenheim is a Principal Software Engineer working in flight simulation since 2005. Brad is a lucky man to have found a career that melds his passions for computers, technology, aircraft and aviation so perfectly. His mission at Takeoff Technical is to explore his field from new angles while, hopefully, inspiring others to create great technology along the way!
Visual Studio Code, CMake, VirtualBox, and GDB are combined to cross-compile and remote debug C/C++ for the BeagleBone Black (BBB) embedded Linux device. Special attention is paid to efficiency in the development cycle.
The BeagleBone Black (BBB) is a reference target of Poky, the example Linux distribution from the Yocto Project. Follow along to build and flash the BBB with a Poky image built using the Yocto Project.
